Purse dating from the Boar war presented to a trooper E C Fillery and dated 1901. It is not known about trooper Fillery however this purse looks to be a presentation piece so could have been given by his comrades for a leaving gift or by his family on his return from war. Overall the purse is in great condition for its age with the silver plate being in nice unpolished condition.
