This lovely little letter that was sent in october 1914 is a small insight into a soldier manning the front line during the very early stages of the war. Letters from this era are very rare and this is a fine example of a front line, sensored approved example. A quick research shows that the letter was written by Reginald Mytton who was a private in the honourable artillery company and later commissioned finishing the war as a captain. I am sure there is a lot more research to be made.
