This helmet is in typical 'barn find' condition being nice and solid however showing signs of being left in a barn or shed. On looking at the helmet, you may see that the badge is brass. Its a slight mystery to us as the badges are usually steel however or best guess is that the badge was 'field made' by a repair unit or locals. Either way, the badge has clearly been on the helmet for a very long time as seen with the patina on and around the badge. The inside of the helmet is still present however again has clearly suffered due to being stored poorly.
