WW1 German helmet that was recently found on the Somme battlefields. This helmet shows signs of stress fractures caused by a explosion that has occurred nearby. The helmet has been in the ground for quite some time and has deteriorated a little bit however it is nice and solid. If you look closely there is still remanence of green paint. Finally there is a bullet or shrapnel ball hole towards the rear of the helmet
