WW1 German Memorial Card Cross of Merit, Iron Cross recipient St Quentin

WW1 Memorial card remembering Franz Weftner a non commissioned officer in the 1st Infantry Regiment 10th Company. Holder of the cross of merit and the iron cross. On the 21st March 1918 he was shot in the head and died aged 27. He is buried in the Itancourt cemetery near St Quentin
