An interesting group of items that were all bought together. In the lot there is a set of Leicstershire regiment collar dos and cap badge which would have been worn on a officers uniform. One collar dog is still attached to a piece of uniform however the uniform piece has seriously been affected by poor storage. Also there are a number of Leicstershire regiment buttons and seven identity disks. Five of the disks belonged to a 39542 Papprill. With some research I have discovered that Pte Papprill must have commissioned at some point during the war but was later killed in action. Further research needs to be undertaken however. Below is the information I have been able to find.
